E3 2011: What Are The Developers Bringing Us?
E3 2011 is sure to bring many surprises to gamers. There is expected to be some major announcements from companies like Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. However, other than these announcements, what should we expect from Third-party Developers at E3 this year? Bethesda Bethesda is in the middle of its strongest year. They recently released a game called Brink, which is gaining mass popularity, and will be showing games at E3 in June. There's talk that some of Bethesda's games--like Skyrim--are up for awards. Many people are hoping that Bethesda will reveal information on a new Fallout and Elder Scrolls game during the convention. Square Enix Square Enix is a top player in the game development world. This company has brought us titles like Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and other RPG's. However, Square Enix is expected to announce the next Tomb Raider game. They are also expected to announce the new Kingdom Hearts game set for release on the Nintendo 3DS. This is sure to be an exciting E3 for Square Enix. Namco, Bandai Namco isn't set to make any special announcements this year, but they are going to show off their new line-up of games. There will be a proper first look at the new Soul Caliber V game. Capcom Capcom will probably be making a few announcements this year at E3. Expect to see some trailers for Resident Evil: Racoon city, and Dead Rising 2: Off the record. Other than that, perhaps a new look at Street Figter VS. Tekken? Rockstar Rockstar's biggest announcement is expected to be about Grand Theft Auto V. There may even be sneak previews of Borderlands 2 and Max Payne 3. Activision Everyone is expecting Activision to steal the show at E3 this year. However, don't expect any new music games like Guitar Hero, or DJ Hero. Activision is expected to completely focus their show on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. MW2 is still to date one of the most popular game among FPS fans. There may even be sneak previews of the new Prototype, Spider-man, and Transformers. For Bungie fans, sorry. Bungie is not expected to be at E3 this year. If you were hoping for news on a new Halo, you're going to have to wait longer. Hopefully, news will be released soon about Bungie's future plans. That's a list of what we can expect at E3 this year. This year is sure to surprise some gamers. Take a look at my blog for more gaming information!
